Oversized or true to size? How to pick your fit
Every LODE tee is cut oversized by design — that's the boxy, drop-shoulder shape you see in our photos. But "oversized" isn't one fixed thing, and how it looks on you depends on which size you pick relative to your normal size. Here's the simple version.
Want the fit shown in our photos?
Order your usual size. The drop-shoulder cut and extra room are already built into the pattern, so your regular size gives you the relaxed, boxy silhouette exactly as photographed.
Want something closer to the body?
Size down one from your usual size. You'll still get the heavyweight cotton and the graphic at full scale, just with less room through the chest and sleeve.
Between two sizes?
Check the shoulder and chest measurements on our Size Guide against a tee you already own and love the fit of. Shoulder width matters most for how the drop-shoulder cut sits — get that right and the rest follows.
A note on the graphics
Because the artwork is placed for the oversized cut, sizing down shrinks the garment around the print rather than the print itself — the graphic will sit slightly larger relative to the shirt. Most people still prefer it; just something to know before you decide.
