Oversized hoodie sizing: which size should you pick?

Oversized hoodies are cut big on purpose, which makes sizing feel confusing. Here is how to pick the right size.

Step 1: Know the intended fit

Our hoodies are cut oversized with drop shoulders. If you want the look the model has, order your usual size. If you prefer something closer to the body, size down one.

Step 2: Read the chart the right way

Our size guide lists flat garment measurements, meaning the hoodie laid flat. To get the full chest circumference, double the chest number. For example, a size S heavyweight hoodie has a flat chest of 23.62 in, which is about 47.2 in around.

  • Heavyweight (380 GSM): flat chest from 23.62 in (S) to 27.56 in (3XL).
  • Fleece (350 GSM): flat chest from 25.98 in (S) to 29.13 in (2XL). The fleece is cut even looser.

Step 3: Compare with a hoodie you own

Lay your favorite hoodie flat, measure chest, length, and shoulder, and compare it with our chart. This is the most accurate method.

Quick guide

  • Want the full oversized look: your usual size.
  • Want a relaxed but less boxy fit: one size down.
  • Between sizes on the heavyweight: go down for structure, up for a slouchier fit.
  • On the fleece, size up only if you want an extra-loose fit.
